The White Horse is an historic inn at the heart of the village of Ditchling at the foot of the Sussex South Downs and reaped in history.
The pub offers a wonderful place to eat, drink or sleep, with fresh seasonal locally sourced food, a well-stocked bar offering local ales and a various choices of accommodation with its 7 bedrooms.
With real ales sourced not only from Susses but across the counties the bar also offers an array of ciders, larger and a selection of wines. The comprehensive wine list will appeal to a wide range of tastes and is regularly updated to complement our changing seasonal menus which showcase the best of Sussex produce.
Our spacious dining room is ideal for all of your family events and social gatherings including weddings, christenings and functions. We have a separate dining area for smaller, private meetings or dining.
The 7 b&b rooms are ideal for walkers or for a short visit to Ditchling for an event or a wedding. The rooms offer views either across to the South Downs or St Margaret’s church dating from the late 12th century.
